Big Mac Nachos
Big Mac Nachos
We put American cheese on nachos and have zero regrets. With the special sauce, they taste just like a Big Mac.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 (13-oz.) bag tortilla chips
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 1 c. pickle chips
- 1 c. shredded lettuce
- 10 slices American cheese, quartered
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
FOR SPECIAL SAUCE
- 3/4 c. mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp. yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp. ketchup
- 1 tbsp. pickle relish
- 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt

Directions
- Preheat oven to 425° and line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil. (It’ll make cleaning much easier!) Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and garlic powder, and cook, stirring often, until beef is no longer pink, about 6 minutes. If there’s a bunch of excess fat, drain it. Otherwise, season to taste with salt and pepper and remove from heat.
- Make special sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients until smooth.
- Spread a layer of chips onto baking sheet then top with about half the ground beef. Drizzle with some special sauce, then top with half each of onion, pickles, and American cheese. Add another layer of chips, then top with remaining ground beef, onion, pickles, and American cheese.
- Bake until cheese is melted, about 10 minutes. Scatter shredded lettuce over nachos, then drizzle remaining special sauce on top. Garnish with sesame seeds.
